Estama wins Evans Randall German management mandate

Estama, the German asset management specialist, has taken over the management of a 120,000 sq m portfolio on behalf of Evans Randall.

The portfolio comprises 58 properties spread throughout northern Germany, in the regions of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony and Schleswig Holstein.

The majority of the portfolio is retail property, ranging from single retail units to shopping centres, and supermarkets, with a small office and residential component. Anchor tenants include Edeka, Aldi, Lidl, Rewe and Schlecker.

Estama currently manages a portfolio of around 450 properties across Germany, with a combined capital value of €2.5bn. Other recent high profile instructions include HSBC Specialist Fund Management, Fairacre and SN Properties.

Set up in 1993, Evans Randall have arranged and structured over £20bn of transactions around the world. As an investor and co-investor in commercial real estate, Germany is a significant market for the European business with over €500m of property assets currently under management.
