Our business

Evans Randall is a privately held investment banking and private equity group specialising in alternative assets. Since the beginning of 2005 Evans Randall has acquired more than £4 billion of commercial real estate in the UK and mainland Europe, typically in the range of £100 million to £500 million.

Commercial property

Evans Randall originates, arranges finance for, underwrites and directly invests in real estate investments in the UK and Western Europe.  We target prime investment assets let on long leases to very strong covenant tenants, with fixed or indexed rental uplifts. These assets offer secure income streams and strong capital growth prospects for investors.

The group creates tax efficient structures to optimise asset values and returns for investors.  Either prior to or immediately following completion of an acquisition, our team sources equity contributions from co-investors and actively manages these investments to maximise value for ourselves and our co-investors.  In conjunction with our real estate advisers, CB Richard Ellis, we determine the optimal time to enter, exit or refinance a transaction.

Our portfolio currently comprises around £4 billion of commercial property. We plan to add at least £1 billion of further investments year on year.  Tenants within our portfolio include (or have included) both AAA rated government organisations and highly rated financial institutions and corporations, such as the UK Government, the European Commission, the Financial Services Authority, Cisco Systems, Man Group Plc, Swiss Re, HBOS, and Deutsche Telekom.

Residential property

Evans Randall and Northacre have formed a partnership to undertake prime residential developments in central London. 

Northacre are the only “one stop shop” for prestigious prime residential developments, with in-house architects and interior designers, as well as the industry's leading development management team, maintaining the highest quality in all of their developments.  Each of Northacre’s projects to date -- including The Lancasters, The Vicarage and The Bromptons -- has had a significant positive impact on values in the area surrounding the development.  

Evans Randall will leverage our excellent track record in completing large commercial property transactions quickly and effectively and our strong banking and equity investor relationships, which are fundamental to our ability to exploit opportunities offered in the residential market.

Structured finance

Evans Randall designs and executes complex cross border financing transactions for highly regarded multi-national corporations.  These are high-value, multi-jurisdictional, structured finance transactions typically in the range of US$200 million to US$1 billion.

Evans Randall has been appointed as exclusive financial arranger on over US$27 billion of financings. We have executed transactions in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Bermuda.  Our clients are leading Fortune 500 or FTSE 100 corporations including Caterpillar Inc, the Campbells Soup Company, Sara Lee Corporation, Daimler Chrysler and Cadbury Schweppes plc.
